Season I: Feben Teffera, Ethiopian pop-up restaurateur, San Luis Obispo, CA

Ethiopian by birth, Feben Teffera leads an incredibly diverse life on California’s Central Coast. A voracious reader, creative maker and a deep lover of community, Feben started an Ethiopian pop-up restaurant in San Luis Obispo and was overwhelmed by the positive response. She talked with me about her previous life in corporate tech in New York, the thoughtful way she feeds her young son, the challenges of living all over the world, and about the flavors and methods of Ethiopian cuisine.
