Season I: Brigit Binns, cookbook author and teacher, Paso Robles, CA

The Central Coast of California is so lucky to have Brigit Binns: a cook, teacher, and writer and recipe developer who has authored over 30 cookbooks for the likes of Sunset Magazine, Williams-Sonoma, and celebrity chefs, in addition to many under her own name. Having traveled widely, she and her husband settled in Paso Robles where they own Refugio, a luxurious bed and breakfast, along with a dreamy teaching kitchen. Brigit sat down with me to talk about how she grew up, why she was kicked out of boarding school, her appreciation for science fiction, and why she loves Paso Robles.
