Season IX: Libbie Agran, founder, Wine History Project of San Luis Obispo County
Libbie Agran is the author of San Luis Obispo County Wine: A World-Class History and the founder of the Wine History Project of San Luis Obispo County. Along with her board members and staff, Libbie researches the long and varied history of San Luis Obispo County grape growers, winemakers, wine families and the supporters who make the wine industry a top producer in the United States. Libbie has an unbelievable wealth of knowledge on the subject, having devoted much of the last five years to writing the book, which was released March 1 of this year. The Wine History Project also makes films, installs exhibitions on wine history, and has a robust website worth visiting at winehistoryproject.org.
